Producing polarized organoids with outward-facing architecture providing direct apical surface access for infectious disease modeling and high-throughput drug screening in three dimensions, this medium includes a specialized supplement to promote secretory cell development and better reflect cellular diversity of human airway epithelium. Compatible with specialized microwell plate culture without cell culture inserts, the serum-free and bovine pituitary extract-free formulation ensures experimental consistency.
